Our goal at Khalis honey is to procure the most delicious, pure, and raw honey from the Northern region of Pakistan. We are dedicated to everything organic and natural. Our honey is extracted directly from beehives, under the supervision of our highly trained beekeepers. At Khalis we have the highest quality standards, throughout our process, in order to deliver the best quality honey to our customers. Our honey comes from the untouched valleys of Hunza and Gilgit, along with Kohat which has the perfect climate for bee harvesting. We have two products in our portfolio with many more in the process. Sidr honey is considered the best in the world, due to its extraordinary taste, captivating aroma, and an array of health benefits. Sidr honey is extracted from the Sidr tree, which grows in a remote valley of Jundand the district of Karak. Robinia honey is very unique in nature due to its fruity, fragrant and transparent qualities. Robinia honey is extracted from the Black Locust tree which is prominent in the Ghizer valley of Gilgit.

HONEY IN PAKISTAN

For many centuries Honey has been harvested in the untouched Himalayan valleys of Gilgit and Hunza in Northern Pakistan. Beekeepers have been using traditional methods to harvest the purest honey for decades. The ancient Sidr tree grows uncultivated in the valley of Karrak, which is known for the best quality Sidr honey in the region. Due to Honey’s medicinal properties it is widely popular in almost every household.

Our honey is harvested directly from the beehives under the supervision of our highly trained beekeepers and bottled to preserve the natural quality. Our honey comes from the untouched valleys of Hunza and Gilgit, along with Kohat which is famous for its rich fertile land for honey harvesting. We do not heat the honey before, during or after harvest. Once harvested, we do not filter the honey. All our honey is 100% pure, raw and straight from the hive. At Khalis, we have the highest quality standards, throughout our process in order to deliver the best quality honey to our customers.

KHALIS SIDR HONEY

 

  • NECTAR SOURCE: Wild Sidr (Beri) Flowers only.
  • CONSISTENCY: Smooth, viscous, rich and moderately thick.  
  • COLOUR: Medium to dark amber.
  • TASTE: Robust with butterscotch & caramel notes.
  • PROPERTIES: Lowers bad cholesterol, strengthens immune system, good for athletes, elderly and pregnant women for its high mineral content.

 

Khalis Sidr honey which comes from the bees that feed solely on the nectar of the wild Sidr tree is one of the most exclusive honeys in the world. We harvest Khalis Sidr honey fromoldest and biggest Sidr Forest situated in the valleys of Northern Pakistan. Sidr honey is popular because of its exquisite taste and its health benefits as a natural medicine. It has been historically sacred and has been frequently used in the field of medicine and health in many ways.Generally, all raw honey is slightly acidic in nature (pH ranging from 4.0 to 6.0) however, Organic Sidr Honey is an exception. It has a pH value of 6.5 – 7.4 which is very close to (7.1). This means, it takes a matter of seconds to dissolve in our bloodstream, providing an efficient source of high-quality energy, minerals and vitamins.

Khalis Robinia honey has been made by honeybees during the flowering season of Robinia Flowers which are well-known for producing this extraordinary and unique honey. Robinia Flowers are spread through certain areas in Ghizer Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan. It blossoms for only 7 in a year (between April and May) producing white flowers.Robinia honey is quite unique in the world of honey. To start with, it is low in sucrose content and a high fructose. This makes it a healthier choice for those who might be sensitive to sugar. Robinia honey is well-known for its medicinal qualities too. This honey rarely crystallizes due to its high fructose content. Produced from the nectar of Robinia flowers, this is perhaps one of most sought after honey’s in the world.

Robinia flowers are in loose drooping bunches four to five inches long. Each flower is about an inch long, cream white, nectar bearing, and fragrant. Nectar from these flowers is collected when the tree blossoms anytime between April and May and it continues to bloom for approximately ten days.
